Update on Taro and Coconut Cookie Recall
We have updated all packaging to indicate the missing Milk allergen and is now available at retail locations and on our website.
The recall for our Taro and Coconut Cookies was triggered due to the Sodium Caseinate ingredient which is a Milk allergen. As soon as we were made aware of the error we reported the issue to the FDA and Hawaii Health Department to ensure that anyone who purchased the product was aware of allergen. The recall was reported via local news outlets and our website and social media. We also worked closely with our retail partners to pull the affected products from store shelves and from our website until the correct labelling was made on all packaging.
At Enjoy, we take food safety seriously and do our best to provide the most information about our products to our consumers. We would like to thank everyone for their support and confidence in our productsʻ quality and flavor.
