On August 7, 2023, Hurricane Dora was forecasted to pass well south of the Hawaiian islands. Although it did not directly impact Hawaii, it brought very strong winds. On August 8, 2023, a brush fire near the town of Lahaina on the island of Maui was fueled by winds up to 60+ miles per hour and ran out of control through the town. The devastation was complete and the town of Lahaina was completely consumed by the flames.

Enjoy supports the survivors, victims, and people of Maui in their time of need and healing. Supporting our local communities throughout the state of Hawaii is an essential part of Enjoy’s culture. We have made donations to first-responders and educators during the pandemic, as well as the Hawaii Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, Blood Bank of Hawaii, and other well-deserved causes. We will also be showing our support for the people of Maui though donations with other reputable organizations in Hawaii.

We understand that many of our customers also feel the need to support the people of Maui, but do not know where or how to make a donation. To make things as easy as possible, we have decided to donate the proceeds of select items purchased on our website directly to the Grace Bible Church Maui who is providing evacuation services, housing families in need, supporting first-responders, and providing financial assistance to those who have lost everything from the fires. Selected Enjoy products will be highlighted and featured on our home page to give as many of our customers an opportunity to support the people of Maui with their orders.
